Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar works perfectly)
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • salt & pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C and grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin really well.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until everything is nicely coated.
  3. Spoon the mixture into the greased mini muffin tins (press down lightly).
  4. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy on top.
  5. Let cool 5 minutes before popping them out — they’ll hold their shape perfectly.

  • Extra crispy top: sprinkle a little more cheese on each bite before baking
  • Flavour boost: add a pinch of garlic powder, paprika, or mustard powder
