The classic kids’ party treat that’s creepy, crawly, and 100 % delicious – grown-ups sneak them too!
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold chocolate pudding (ready-made or homemade)
- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies (Oreos with the cream removed work perfectly)
- Gummy worms (as many as you like – the wigglier the better!)
Method
- Spoon the chocolate pudding into clear cups or small jars (fill about ¾ full).
- Generously sprinkle the crushed chocolate cookies on top to look like “dirt”.
- Poke a few gummy worms into the dirt so they look like they’re crawling out.
- Chill 30 minutes (optional but they’re ready to eat right away if you can’t wait!).
Pro Tips
- For extra realism, let some worms hang over the edge or stand half-buried.
- Make them the day before – they keep beautifully in the fridge for 2–3 days.
- Want a hidden surprise? Add a layer of whipped cream under the dirt.
- Use mini clear plastic cups for parties so everyone gets their own little garden of worms.
Guaranteed to make everyone scream… then smile! 🪱🍫
